Notes: When Jane “Janie” Saggus and her twin brother John were born in 1872 in Penfield, Georgia, their father, Major, was 34 and their mother, Eliza, was 22. She married Columbus “Lum” Sharpe on October 22, 1891, in Greene, Georgia. They had one child during their marriage. She died on August 26, 1932, in her hometown at the age of 60, and was buried there.
